7th Raid Trans Mauritania

The 7th edition of the Raid TransMauritania will take place from Saturday, February 14 to  Saturday, February 21, 2026.

  • Saturday
    • 5.00am: Reception at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, Terminal 3 – Luggage check-in
    • 11.30am: Arrival in Atar (Visa) – Transfer by 4WD to Azalaye Inn (Atar) – Lunch
    • 2.00pm: Registration formalities, assembly and testing of Fatbikes on Atar
    • 4.00pm: 4×4 transfer to the starting site
    • 7.00pm: General briefing
    • Meal and overnight stay at Azalaye Inn
  • Sunday – Stage 1 – From Wadis to Wadis

    • 40km – 100% sand – a few small dunes to discover
    • On arrival, cold meal
    • Afternoon free: walk around the campsite and through the palm grove
    • Meal and night in the desert
  • Monday – Stage 2 – From Dunes to Gorges
    • 43km – 100% sand, 40% dunes
    • On arrival, cold meal
    • Afternoon free: walk around the campsite
    • Meal and night in the desert
  • Tuesday – Stage 3 – The desert plain
    • 68 km – Fast ride !
    • On arrival, cold meal
    • Afternoon free: walk through the dune belt
    • Meal and night in the desert
  • Wednesday – Stage 4 – Marathon stage!!
    • 60 km – 90% sand, 20% dunes
    • On arrival, cold meal
    • Afternoon free: Walk in the wadi and rock paintings
    • Meal and night in the desert
  • Thursday – Stage 5 – From one valley to another
    • 56 km – 70% sand, 20% dunes
    • On arrival, cold meal
    • Afternoon free: walk by the water’s edge
    • Meal and night in the desert
  • Friday – Stage 6 – The ascent of the valley

    • 37 km – 90% tracks, more or less sandy!!
    • On arrival, meal at the hostel in Atar
    • Afternoon free: Visit Atar with its traditional market after preparing your luggage
    • 7pm : Closing Ceremony
    • Méchoui and night at the Azalaye Inn
    • Concert
  • Saturday
    • Breakfast
    • 9am : Transfer to the Airport and luggage check-in
    • Return to Paris in the afternoon around 6.30 pm
