Registration formulas

If you are hesitating between timed fatbike race and untimed fatbike ride, find the video explanations of Yann, race director, helping you choose. But don’t hesitate, in 2024, there’s only the untimed ride format, as the route is particularly wild and away from 4×4 tracks.

The first 5 complete applications received will benefit from the preferential rate of 1790€ per person. => The preferential rate is sold out in less than an hour !!

Please note, places on flight will be limited, the earlier you register the better your chances to join the adventure are. The month of February is very popular with trekking tour operators in the Adrar region.

Full package - 1940€ each

Flight + Accommodation and meals for the week + Event registration

For the first 5 teams registered with a complete file, the rate is 1790€ per person. First teams rate sold out ! Beyond that, the rate increases to 1940€/pers.

The price includes:

  • The round trip flight Paris-Atar with Point Afrique Voyage.
  • The transport of the Fatbike in the hold (1 luggage of 25kg, bike included).
  • The necessary transfers in the area of Atar.
  • Nights in bivouacs or in hostels.
  • Food, drinks and local supplies for the whole week.
  • The closing ceremony with the award ceremony.
  • Prizes for each participant.
  • Registration for the race with medical assistance, safety GPS tracker, local supply.

The price does not include:

  • Visa at Atar airport (55€ in cash).
  • Energy drinks.
  • Expenditures in villages.
  • Fatbike rental.
  • Possible costs for repairing fatbikes.

Mauritanian residents - 890€ each

Accommodation and meals for the week + Event registration

The price includes:

  • The necessary transfers in the area of Atar
  • Nights in bivouacs or in hostels
  • Fatbike rental
  • Food, drinks and local supplies for the whole week
  • The closing ceremony with the award ceremony
  • Prizes for each participant
  • Registration for the race with medical assistance, safety GPS tracker, local supply

The price does not include:

  • Transfer between Nouakchott and Atar (470 km)
  • Energy drinks
  • Expenditures in villages
  • Possible costs for repairing fatbikes

Accompanying person - 1300€ each

The price includes:

  • The round trip flight Paris-Atar with Point Afrique Voyage
  • One luggage of 15kg in the hold
  • The necessary transfers in the area of Atar
  • Nights in bivouacs or in hostels
  • Food and drinks for the whole week
  • Participation in guided walks
  • The closing ceremony

The price does not include:

  • Visa at Atar airport (55€ in cash)
  • Expenditures in villages

Fatbike Rental

Fatbike rental is available in France, but not in Mauritania.

We invite you to look around as soon as possible, in a ski resort or on the Atlantic coast in particular.

We have started a list of Fatbike rental companies in France in the FAQ. Don’t hesitate to share your good rental plans with us : contact@raid-transmauritania.com

If you don’t find what you’re looking for with our rental partners, we have a small number of Fatbikes available for rent at the price of 190€ for the race week. Do not hesitate to contact us (contact@raid-transmauritania.com).

For all formulas, a 30% deposit will be requested by cheque payable to Anjou Authentique Aventure with all registration forms.

The deposit will not be returned in case of withdrawal. This deposit will enable us to book the flight as soon as possible but also the accommodation in the hostels.

However, with the current circumstances related to Covid-19, if we are forced to cancel this 5th edition, we will keep the deposit until the 5th edition is re-scheduled. However, if for personal reasons you are unable to participate in the new dates, your deposit will be refunded.

Then you can pay in several instalments if necessary, by cheque or bank transfer, but the balance of your registration must be validated at least one month before departure.

Register to RTM

First of all, make sure you have a scanned version of the following documents:

  • Passports of both participants (or the one of the accompanying person).
  • Repatriation insurance certificate for each participant.
  • Sport licence (FFC, FFTri, FFCO, Ufolep) or medical certificate stating that the practice of “sport in competition” or “cycling in competition” is not contraindicated for each of the participants, except for accompanying persons.
  • A payment card for online payment, you will make a first payment of €600 per person.

Then complete the online registration form:

Finally, the following documents must be sent to us by mail:

  • Passports photocopies.
  • Repatriation insurance certificate.
  • Photocopy of sport licences or medical certificates.
  • Race regulations signed by each of the participants
  • A deposit cheque of 200€ payable to Anjou Authentique Aventure for the GPS security tracker.
  • A deposit cheque of 300 € payable to Anjou Authentique Aventure for the rental of the Fatbike through us, if you choose bike rental.
  • A cheque (or several cheques if you wish to pay in instalments), covering the remaining of the registration fee, made payable to Anjou Authentique Aventure, to avoid having to send them later.
  • One or possibly more cheques (if you wish to spread out the payments), covering(nt) the 70% of the total remaining price, payable to Anjou Authentique Aventure, to avoid having to send them later.
