5^th Raid Trans Mauritania

The 5th edition of the Raid TransMauritania will take place from February 24 to  March 2, 2024.

• Saturday
  • 5.30am: Reception at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, Terminal 3 – Luggage check-in
  • 11.50am: Arrival in Atar (Visa) – Transfer by 4WD to Azalaye Inn (Atar) – Lunch
  • 2.00pm: Registration formalities, assembly and testing of Fatbikes on Atar and his arounds
  • 4.00pm: Departure in 4WD to Chinguetti
  • After dinner: General briefing
  • Meal and overnight stay at Nouatil Inn

• Sunday – Stage 1 – Dunes and sand
  • 50km – 100% sand, 30% dunes
  • Afternoon free: walk in the dunes and rocky mountains
  • Meal and night in the desert

• Monday – Stage 2 – From one reg to another
  • 50 km – 50% sand, 50% reg
  • On arrival, cold meal
  • Afternoon free: walk in the wadi
  • Meal and night in the desert

• Tuesday – Stage 3 – The wadi
  • 46 km – 90% sand, 20% dunes
  • On arrival, cold meal
  • Afternoon free: walk in the wadi
  • Meal and night in the desert

• Wednesday – Stage 4 – From one valley to another
  • 42 km – 00% sand, 10% tracks and 50% dunes
  • On arrival, cold meal
  • Afternoon free: walk in the sandy plain and the village
  • Meal and night in the desert

• Thursday – Stage 5 – Rising the wadi
  • 62 km – 80% sand, 20% tracks
  • On arrival, cold meal
  • Afternoon free: walk in the palm grove and gardens
  • Meal and night in the desert

• Friday – Stage 6 – Rising the valley
  • 37 km – 90% sandy tracks
  • On arrival, meal at the hostel in Atar
  • Afternoon free: Visit Atar with its traditional market after preparing your luggage
  • 7pm : Closing Ceremony
  • Méchoui and night at the Azalaye Inn
  • Concert with the Walfadjiri band

• Saturday
  • Breakfast
  • 9am : Transfer to the Airport and luggage check-in
  • Return to Paris in the afternoon around 6.30 pm
